Yesterday morning, Canada made a successful debut in the men's hockey tournament, winning 5-0 against the Czech Republic. Jordan Binnington was on fire in goal, and all three lines were successful.

It makes sense that Canada would beat the Czech Republic, of course. But the Czech Republic is still a good team: it's not like they washed out France, for example.

Today, Canada is back in action, facing Switzerland in about 30 minutes. And from what we can see, there will be some changes to the lineup.

Unsurprisingly, Jordan Binnington is getting a day off, with Logan Thompson in goal. His backup will be Darcy Kuemper.

And among the skaters, Brad Marchand will be replaced by Seth Jarvis, while Josh Morrissey (who was injured yesterday) will be replaced by Travis Sanheim today.

Obviously, the mostworrying thing is Morrissey, who is unable to play today after getting injured. It's not impossible that Canada will decide to play it safe and let him recover for the more important games ahead, but his case is one to watch.

But obviously, it will be something to watch.

It's also worth noting that the rest of the lineup remains intact, with Nick Suzuki back on the wing of the line led by Nathan MacKinnon. The two guys showed some great things yesterday, and Jon Cooper clearly wants to continue the experiment.

We can all agree that the habs captain can't be too unhappy about playing with MacKinnon, hehe.

We'll see how it all plays out this afternoon, but we expect Canada to easily dispose of the Swiss. That said, we know that in international hockey, surprises can happen quickly.

Overtime

On the Swiss side, here's what the club's lineup will look like.

Note that Canada will face former habs legend Sven Andrighetto, hehe.
