Canada got off to a great start in the Olympic tournament this afternoon with a 5-0 win over the Czech Republic.
Nick Suzuki showed that he belongs on the Canadian team by scoring a beautiful goal off a pass from Connor McDavid.
The habs forward had a strong game overall alongside Nathan MacKinnon and Brad Marchand, proving his critics wrong for questioning his selection.
Although it's still early in the tournament, this line could play an important role in Canada's success going forward.
According to Renaud Lavoie, who was a guest on the JiC show, Nick Suzuki could be even better after the Games as he uses his Olympic experience to take his game to the next level.
“When Nick Suzuki comes out of this tournament, he'll be even better than before.”

This opinion is shared by Jean-Charles Lajoie.
He will benefit from the experience and leadership of a player like MacKinnon, and as Lavoie points out, it's not necessarily easy to play with a player of that caliber who always demands perfection.
This will be an opportunity for Suzuki to receive some advice from some of the best players in the world.
Not to mention that simply sharing the locker room with many veterans and leaders such as Sidney Crosby and Connor McDavid is an experience in itself and an excellent way for the habs captain to learn.
Suzuki wouldn't be the first player to use his experience in an international tournament to take his game to the next level.
And in Suzuki's case, that doesn't necessarily mean an improvement in his statistics—it's hard to ask for more from someone who has 102 points in 83 games since the Four Nations break—but it could show in his leadership and in the way he conducts himself in the locker room and on the ice.
In short, we'll be able to see the impact of the Olympics in two weeks' time.
