Ivan Demidov is a hard worker.
A few days after being spotted on his way to Florida, the Russian is already back in Brossard. Our colleague Patrick Guillet saw him practicing.
The guy never stops.

Keep in mind that the guys aren't required to show up on the ice in Brossard until February 17 at 2 p.m. Six days early, Demidov decided to skate.
That says a lot about how serious he is.
Demidov didn't spend much time on the ice this morning (he must be finding it tough without Lane Hutson, who is normally in Chicago at this time of year… and who must be skating on his side).
Alex Newhook, who is still injured, arrived later with Adam Nicholas and a goalie. It's more normal to see an injured player skating this morning, let's say.

We'll be watching over the next few days to see if any other players join Demidov and Newhook. We assume they'll be back in Brossard in the next few days.
Speaking of Demidov, he will be signing autographs in Brossard tonight.
