The Rocket is really having a great run.

The Canadiens' farm team has a 7-2-1 record in its last ten games and is also sitting at the top of its division. Things have really been working out for Pascal Vincent's men lately.

But…

But while the team is dominating on the ice, there's one thing in particular that's drawing attention in Laval: David Reinbacher's health.

The defenseman was able to return to action last Saturday, and the Rocket won 4-1 against the Cleveland Monsters. But Reinbacher was playing (only) his 34th game of the season, which is why Bruno Gervais believes we still need to bevery patientwith him.

He hasn't played enough for us to have a good idea of what the future holds for him. And Gervais, who has played and knows the game, is spot on:

What he says is true.

We know Reinbacher has talent and potential. But we can't predict his future because he needs to play more to really show what he's made of.

Let's just hope that Reinbacher finds a way to stay healthy for the rest of the season. It would be good for him… and the organization's management would certainly be happy if that happened.

In recent weeks, there has been a lot of talk about the goalie situation in Montreal.

And with the dismissal of Éric Raymond, we started to hear certain things about how he worked with the goalies in the city. Kevin Poulin, appearing on Martin Lemay's show, explained it well: there was a real lack of cohesion between the approach in Montreal and Laval.

When you learn things at the bottom and you're told to do things differently at the top, it can certainly be confusing…

That's true, too.

Kevin Poulin knows this well, by the way… because he has played for the Canadiens organization in recent years. He spent two seasons in Laval (21-22 and 22-23) and knows how Marco Marciano works with his goalies.

He praised him, saying that Marciano helped him extend his career

It's refreshing, at least, to hear a former member of the organization speak that way. Because it allows us to learn certain things… and now we know that things will be different with Marco Marciano, who has joined the Canadiens.

Overtime

– I agree…

– Note.

– Good news.

– Phew…
