It was a night of glory in the NFL as the New England Patriots and Seattle Seahawks battled for the Vince Lombardi Trophy in Super Bowl LVI at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California.
Players and fans from both teams were ready for this rematch of Super Bowl XLIX.
The Patriots won the coin toss and chose to kick off to start the game.
The Seahawks wasted no time and got on the scoreboard with a 33-yard field goal by Jason Myers.

With no touchdowns in the first half of this defensive matchup, it was now time for the halftime show.
The performance by Bad Bunny, an artist I don't know much about, was interesting, with Lady Gaga and Ricky Martin as surprise guests.
When play resumed, the Seahawks' defensive dominance continued as they stopped the Patriots, who had possession at the start of the second half.
On their next offensive drive, the Hawks added three more points thanks to Myers' fourth field goal of the game.

Then, Seattle's defense forced a fumble, the first turnover of the game, late in the third quarter, which subsequently led to the first touchdown of the game.

However, it was too little too late for New England, which fell victim to an interception on its next possession.

Final score: 29-13 for the Seahawks.
While the first half of the Super Bowl was fairly quiet, the show really heated up in the second half. However, the Seahawks' defense was simply too strong for the Patriots, who were left with nothing to sink their teeth into on offense.
And for those wondering, the Gatorade was yellow.
