On Thursday evening, the World Baseball Classic rosters were officially announced.

For Canada, eight Québécois will be part of the adventure in uniform. Six of them will be playing, which is six more than the Olympic hockey team.

Abraham Toro, Otto Lopez, and Édouard Julien (who will be there despite his trade to Colorado) are the position players from here. As in 2023, the three guys could be the starters in the infield.

On the mound, veteran Phillippe Aumont will come out of retirement once again to pitch for his country. Prospects Eric Cerantola and Antoine Jean will also be part of the team.
