As you probably know, Jacob Fowler was selected for the AHL All-Star Game.

The Rocket's goalie, who also played with the Canadiens, is having a great season in the American Hockey League. And in the coming days, he will represent the Rocket alongside Adam Engstrom, Laurent Dauphin, and Pascal Vincent at the annual classic.

The festivities will take place on February 10 and 11 in Rockford, Illinois.

It's interesting to note that the American goalie has chosen to wear a special mask for the occasion. The mask, made by JF Aumais, bears similarities to his usual equipment.

But there are also some additions, of course.

Right away, we notice that the style of the mask resembles what we've seen in the past. The big difference, of course, is the All-Star festivities logo on the side.

We note that the Rocket logo is on his chin.

But what stands out most to me is that Fowler decided to pay tribute to Quebec behind his mask with a license plate from here.

In the past, we've seen a plate with the colors of Florida, where he's from. But now, seeing the Quebec plate with “Je me souviens” and his name is a nice gesture for the Québécois fans who support him.

We also note that the famous “Lights will guide you home” is still behind his mask. This is a reference to the lyrics of the song Fix You, which is obviously important in Montreal. The guys have been entering the Bell Centre to Coldplay's song for years.

The mask is a success, in my opinion.
