1. Charlie McAvoy nearly injures his goalie
In New York, the Rangers gave the habs a little help by beating the Bruins in overtime.

In the loss, Charlie McAvoy made headlines, but for all the wrong reasons.
He came close to injuring his goalie, Jeremy Swayman.

And David Pastrnak reached the 900-point career milestone with three assists.
However, his incredible performance wasn't enough to give the Bruins two points.
David Pastrnak (0-3—3) became the sixth player in @NHLBruins history to record 900 career points and the second fastest to reach the milestone behind only Phil Esposito. #NHLStats

Tempers flared in this win.
The two teams don't like each other, even though they only face each other twice a season.

The Oilers' defensemen just keep scoring.
After Evan Bouchard's six-point performance against the Capitals, including three goals, it was Mathias Ekholm's turn to score three goals.

It was the 27th hat trick in 26 days in the NHL, the second in a row for the Ducks.
Tristan Jarry made a completely insane save.
He lost his skate blade, but that didn't stop him from making the save.

4. Already a sixth shutout for Ilya Sorokin
While he may not be the best goalie in the NHL this season, Ilya Sorokin is certainly among the best.
Yesterday, in a 4-0 win over the Flyers, he recorded his sixth shutout of the season, two shy of his personal record.
