The Montreal Canadiens will play their 52nd game of the season tonight, when they travel to Boston to take on the Bruins.
At this stage of the season, every game is all the more important, especially in the Atlantic Division as it is tonight.
These are four-point games, and the Habs will have to win some of them, because if they don't, the standings will heat up even more for the division's top-3.

So it would really take a win tonight, and to do that, I have a feeling Ivan Demidov will step up tonight and score one or more goals.
Demidov is practically already a superstar in the NHL, and it's those kinds of games where the best are the best.
Speaking of Demidov, with his excellent rookie season of 43 points in 51 games, he's already the second-best player in the 2024 draft, only behind Macklin Celebrini.
And if we go even further, Simon “Snake” Boisvert even claims that Demidov is the second-best player in the draft, even including the 2023 crop.
Boisvert says Demidov will be better than Connor Bedard and Leo Carlsson.

That's a big statement from Boisvert at The Sick Podcast, and it might sound crazy, but when you think about it, it really is possible.
Demidov is having an excellent rookie season, and doing so with fairly limited playing time compared to other NHL rookies.
He's averaging 15 minutes per game, while Connor Bedard played almost 20 in his rookie season, when he scored 61 points in 68 games.
Leo Carlsson scored 29 points in 55 games in his rookie season, averaging just 18 minutes per game.
In short, we can imagine that Demidov's production will skyrocket when he finally gets the playing time to match his talent.
His talent is undeniable, as we've seen in every game this season, which gives us even more confidence that he'll reach his very high potential.
We can't wait to see what Demidov will become, even more so if he turns out to be better than Bedard and Carlsson.
