After losing to the Sabres on Thursday, the Habs were back in action tonight in Boston.

Martin St-Louis' team played in red.

Here are the line-ups:

The Habs found the back of the net first.

Cole Caufield, for the fifth game in a row, rattled the ropes.

Late in the first, Kirby Dach and Jonathan Aspirot threw down the gloves.

Let's just say no one expected that.

Dach injured a finger and at the start of the second period, he wasn't on the bench.

Fortunately, he returned midway through the period.

The Bruins tied the score twice during this period.

After Cole Caufield's 28th goal (again) on the powerplay, David Pastrnak made a play for teammate Morgan Geekie.

But later, Caufield completed his hat trick with a beautiful goal.

3-2 Montreal after 40 minutes of play.

Boston didn't give up, however. First, the home team tied the score thanks to Fraser Minten.

Seconds later, on the power play, Geekie scored a second goal.

Final score: 4-3 Bruins. Martin St-Louis' team was unable to score in the final moments of the game.

They'll be back in action on Tuesday against the Golden Knights at the Bell Centre.

Overtime

– The Americans? No one.

– He made some nice saves, but it wasn't his best…

– Ouch.

– Haha.

– Too bad.
