When he was playing, Craig Berube had a reputation for being tough.
And that hasn't changed today.
The Leafs' coach still has that style behind the bench. And let's just say that, after hurting himself in the gym, Berube has a new look that's a little… mean.
The Toronto head coach obviously took something to the head while practicing, because he appeared before the cameras today with a good scar on his forehead.
And when I say “a good scar”… I'm really not exaggerating. Berube really looks like a goon with what's been going on lately:
Bruh.

Ouch!
I wonder if this will inspire Leafs players to be more intense on the ice. You know, when your coach looks like a killer and keeps saying he wants a tough, physical club on the ice… Hehe.
All kidding aside, I don't know what happened to bring Berube to this point… but from the look on his face, I'm inclined to think it could have been even worse.
You can clearly see that he had to get stitches to repair his wound, and you can see how massive the scar is.
It must have hurt like hell, and I'm sure the members of the Toronto organization were surprised when they saw him arrive at the arena this morning with a face like that.
His black eye doesn't help the look either. Really, Berube could have hurt himself pretty badly, and seeing him on the podium in Toronto talking to reporters today is good news in itself:
“Just had an accident in the gym yesterday.”
