Nick Suzuki is a complete player.

The Canadiens' captain can be used for anything, because he can do everything the right way on the ice. He's good on the powerplay, he can be useful on the short-handed… and he knows how to use his qualities with the man advantage.

He's a (big) part of the Canadiens' power play success this season.

I say that because there are only two players with more points than Suzuki on the power play so far this season.

And I'm talking about Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl. Let's face it: they're not exactly small fry. Definitely not.

It just goes to show how elite #14 is in the NHL right now.

At 26 years of age, Nick Suzuki has really improved every facet of his game.

It's hard to blame him for anything right now… and the Canadiens are lucky in a way to be able to count on him night after night. We know that the captain will always have the same level of energy because he plays to win.

That's worth its weight in gold.

That said, if Nick Suzuki is one of the most dominant players on the power play today, it's not for nothing either. The arrival of Lane Hutson and Ivan Demidov has a lot to do with it: the captain is better surrounded than ever on the power play, and the results are there.

He's got the weapons to produce, after all.

And Nick Suzuki obviously knows how to make the most of it. I wonder if he'll get a spot on the power play at the next Olympics?

Overtime

– Oh.

– Indeed.

– What do we think?

– The Ravens have their new coach.
