Last night, 20 teams were in action.

It was an excellent show in many respects.

Here are the results and highlights:

1. “It's always going to be my home” – Jonathan Toews, back in Chicago

My first point would have been the goalie brawl in Florida, but my colleague Jonathan beat me to it.

I'll talk about another Jonathan, then, Jonathan Toews. He was back in Chicago and, of course, he got a big welcome.

He couldn't wait to start the game and his old fans couldn't stop cheering.

After the game, he says Chicago will always be his home and the city will always have a special place in his heart.

However, the Blackhawks won the game 2-0.

Spencer Knight recorded a 32-save shutout.

Connor Hellebuyck wasn't naughty, either.

Here, he stole Connor Bedard.

Bedard recovered later, however, scoring the insurance goal into an empty net.

2. 11th consecutive loss for the Canucks

Things aren't going well for Vancouver, which is going through a difficult period. Not only do the Canucks keep losing, but they're making a fire sale.

After Quinn Hughes, Kiefer Sherwood changed addresses yesterday afternoon. And in the evening, they lost their 11th consecutive game. This time, the Islanders came out on top, 4-3.

In the second period, the hosts led 2-1, but Anthony Duclair found the back of the net.

His seventh goal in his last seven games.

Matthew Schaefer had another strong game, picking up two assists.

He's tied with Tim Connolly for the most points by an 18-year-old Islanders player in the organization's history.

The defenseman's game almost came to an end in the opening minutes.

Evander Kane hit him with a heavy check, but fortunately he stayed in the game.

Vancouver is in last place overall, 16 points behind the Ducks and the final playoff spot.

3. Brandon Bussi shines against the Sabres

The Hurricanes and Sabres played a very close game.

In the end, Carolina won 2-1, thanks to the brilliance of Brandon Bussi, who stopped 17 of the 18 pucks directed at him. No, the volume wasn't necessarily there, but the quality was.

Here are the highlights of his spectacular game.

The only one who foiled it was Rasmus Dahlin.

Sebastian Aho registered an assist on both Hurricanes goals.

Andrei Svechnikov finished with a goal and an assist.

4. 1100th point for Nathan MacKinnon

In the afternoon, the Washington Capitals were in Colorado to face Nathan MacKinnon and his team.

MacKinnon took charge of the game, collecting two goals and one assist.

On his third point of the game, he reached the 1,100-point plateau of his career.

The Avalanche star isn't just a good goal scorer.

MacKinnon is an excellent passer, too.

In the victory, Cale Makar was also outstanding, picking up an assist.

He would have finished with two points had his goal not been disallowed. The photo is incredible: Charlie Lindgren with no equipment.

In defeat, Jakob Chychrun found the back of the net again.

His 18th goal of the season makes him the league's top scorer among defensemen.

5.1400th game for Sidney Crosby

Sidney Crosby collected his 1100th point a few seasons ago.

Now, however, the Penguins captain has reached an important milestone. He played his 1,400th career game.

In the 6-3 win over the Kraken, he picked up two assists.

He also excelled physically.

In addition to captain Connor Dewar, Blake Lizotte and Anthony Mantha also picked up two points.

In the Metropolitan, the Penguins are in third place, surprisingly.
