Nazem Kadri's name is seriously starting to circulate on the NHL market. Not because a trade is imminent, but because several teams have taken the time to inquire. And not just any teams.

According to TSN's Darren Dreger, the Maple Leafs, the Canadiens, the Avalanche, and the Los Angeles Kings are among the teams inquiring about the Calgary Flames center.

That doesn't mean Kadri is officially for sale. But when four teams of this caliber call, it's never trivial either.

At 34, Kadri is no longer a project. He's a good, established player with character, bite, and plenty of attacking juice. A center capable of playing important minutes, upsetting opponents, and delivering the goods when games get tight.

And that's exactly why his name is coming up, especially in light of the Flames' difficult season.

In Montreal, the interest is easy to understand. The Canadiens are still looking for stability at center behind Nick Suzuki, even though Oliver Kapanen is doing well. Kadri won't solve everything in the long term, but he offers an immediate solution. A veteran who has won, who knows the pressure and who can coach younger players.

Toronto, for their part, know Kadri very well. His time with the Leafs wasn't perfect, but his profile is exactly the type of player the team likes to add for the playoffs. The same goes for the Colorado club, where Kadri has already proven his worth, and for the Kings, who are evaluating their options to strengthen their top 6.

For now, we're still talking about interest. Not an imminent deal.

But in the NHL, multiple interest drives up value. The more teams in the picture, the stronger Calgary's position. And the Flames, who traded Rasmus Andersson a few days ago, have no reason to hurry.

The message is clear: Nazem Kadri is on the radar of several teams, including the Canadiens. And with the trade deadline approaching, this kind of deal can move very quickly.

In short, this could be just the beginning.
