This morning, Anthony Martineau made a tweet that left room for mystery.

Basically, he posted a photo of a net and said that this morning, he was going to shoot an “atypical” report that he's been dreaming of doing since he's been on the Habs beat.

Here's the post in question.

And lo and behold, this morning, while out on the field covering the Montreal Canadiens' practice, our colleague Patrick Guillet saw this happen.

He captured footage of the TVA Sports reporter on the ice with the Canadiens' captain. They were dressed in hockey uniforms and took shots on net.

It happened after practice, of course.

Patrice Bernier was also present. The former Montreal Impact player had already played in the QMJHL before embarking on his soccer career.

What will this lead to? Who knows.

In any case, you can see that both athletes are wearing Enov Sports jerseys. The company designs and produces practice equipment.

This isn't the first time Bernier and Suzuki have been photographed wearing the company's equipment. Recently, a photo of the two was posted on the company's Facebook page.

Recently, Renaud Lavoie took a football bet with Cole Caufield. Suzuki and Caufield are two of the organization's most important players, as you know.

Do you like to see journalists covering the Canadiens publicly linking up like this with the athletes they cover on a daily basis?
