This morning, Renaud Lavoie mentioned (to BPM Sports) that he expected Jakub Dobes to face the Vancouver Canucks tonight at the Bell Centre.

And now it's done.

On the heels of this morning's practice, we understand that the #3 goaltender will play for the first time since New Year's Day.

Obviously, I don't think I need to tell you that he'll be under pressure. A big exit could make management think twice about his future.

Remember that we can expect to see him go to Laval.

However, if he were to play a bad one, let's just say that the chances of him returning to the AHL when the injured players come back would be higher.

It's up to him to play accordingly— and not be suffocated by the pressure.

The other question was whether there would be any changes among the skaters. There didn't seem to be any changes in the defensive trios and duos in practice.

And that's what's going to happen: there won't be any changes. Josh Anderson and the other injured players won't be back, and Jayden Struble will still be the extra defenseman.

Josh Anderson could return tomorrow. We'll see in due time.

As far as skaters go, the Habs had just one extra in Saturday's game. What's the outlook for this week's three-game road trip, starting tomorrow?
