The Canadiens have five injuries (five forwards, in fact) at the moment: Alex Newhook, Patrik Laine, Josh Anderson, Kirby Dach, and Jake Evans.
It's agreed that Newhook, who hasn't started skating again and theoretically still has two months of rehab ahead of him, isn't close to a comeback.
But the other four could/should return before the Olympics. That's going to cause some congestion problems. #GoodThings
Following today's practice (at the Bell Centre, since the Habs will play at 7:30 p.m. tonight against the Canucks), the four injured players nearing a return skated.
Jake Evans, Patrik Laine, and Kirby Dach skated in non-contact jerseys, suggesting they won't play tonight. Josh Anderson was on the ice in a regular white sweater.

Patrik Laine and Kirby Dach take to the ice in non-contact jerseys. All signs point to them skating with the rest of the team. @RDSca

They all jumped on the ice before anyone else.
Remember that yesterday, following an optional practice, Laine, Dach, and Anderson skated. Evans, on the other hand, did not join a dozen other players on the ice in Brossard.
Will Josh Anderson play tonight? Who will travel with the club after tonight's game? We'll have to wait and see.
Jakub Dobes performed the starter's routine. It's safe to assume that he'll be Martin St-Louis' man of choice against the rebuilding Canucks.
