Yesterday was a huge day for hockey, with almost every team in the National Hockey League in action.
As a result, there were countless highlights, some of which caught the eye the most.
Here's a rundown of those highlights.
1. Several fights break out between children in Hershey
A crazy scene unfolded in the Hershey area of the American League, as a free-for-all broke out at the kids' game during intermission.
Indeed, during the break of the Hershey Bears game against the Cleveland Monsters, two teams of young children took part in a friendly game, which quickly turned into a free-for-all.
Yes, you read that right, and I'll let you see for yourself, as the whole thing is pretty intense and surprisingly even violent.

From punches directly in the face to backflips, it may seem funny at first, but it could have been extremely dangerous.
It only takes one child to fall badly, and a skate could have cut one of the young children, especially as there's one on the ground throughout the scene.
In short, I don't really understand how anyone could have stopped the whole thing, given that it went on for almost a minute, but in the end, thankfully, no one was hurt.
2. Goal awarded during intermission
In the game between the Boston Bruins and the New York Rangers, an unusual situation occurred when a goal was awarded during the intermission.
In the last minute of the first period, the Bruins threatened the Rangers' goal from all sides and came very close to scoring on several occasions.
The period then came to an end, and both teams began to head back to the locker room.
However, the referees reviewed the sequence, and on one of the Bruins' attempts in that final minute, the puck had crossed the goal line.
The referees awarded Pavel Zacha's goal, and both teams had to return to the ice to play for 30 seconds.

3. Pastrnak six assists and two hat tricks
In the same game, a completely insane scoreline was recorded, as the Bruins crushed the Rangers 10-2.
There was a crazy atmosphere in Boston, as the Bruins manhandled the Rangers throughout the game.
It wasn't even fun to watch for the Blue Shirts, as they saw Pavel Zacha (three goals) and Marat Khusnutdinov (four goals and one assist) each score their first career hat trick.

A crazy game during which we also saw David Pastrnak record no less than six assists.
Note that Morgan Geekie left the game for a family emergency in the middle of the game, and we still haven't heard any details.

4. Ninth straight win for the Lightning
The Atlantic division is the best division in the entire NHL this season, with no team seemingly losing any games, and hasn't for several weeks now.
All the Atlantic teams remain in the playoff hunt, which makes for a good show.
The only team that stands out from the pack is the Tampa Bay Lightning, who last night recorded their ninth consecutive victory with a 7-2 win over the Philadelphia Flyers.

So the Lightning are dominant this season, and they're likely to win the Atlantic Division if they keep this up.

It's worth noting that the Montreal Canadiens' 4-0 loss last night to the Detroit Red Wings is hurting them in the standings.
5. Matty Beniers beats the crap out of Jaccob Slavin
In a 3-2 loss to the Carolina Hurricanes, the Seattle Kraken at least got to see their player Matty Beniers pull off a superb deke and score a magnificent goal.
Indeed, the Kraken's #10 made a superb solo push in the first period, as he made short work of Jaccob Slavin, who, it should be remembered, is considered one of the NHL's best defensive players.

A superb deke and goal for Beniers, who had won the Calder Trophy in 2023, but has struggled to elevate his game since.
