The Montreal Canadiens were on the ice at the Bell Centre this morning for a practice session in preparation for tonight's all-important game against the Detroit Red Wings.
A number of issues were obviously being monitored, as many of the injured players have been skating for the past few days.
And much to the delight of Habs fans, there was some good news.
Firstly, Jake Evans and Kaiden Guhle were seen skating with the rest of the group in regular jerseys, indicating that their return to action is imminent.
Lots of good news on the medical front: Jake Evans and Kaiden Guhle are skating in regular jerseys at morning practice, while Kirby Dach and Patrik Laine are with their teammates in non-contact jerseys.

We've been waiting several days for Kaiden Guhle's return, although he was announced for this week.
In Evans' case, we understand that he's progressing very well and should be back in the game soon, which would be in line with his injury timetable of four to six weeks.
Secondly, another piece of good news, as Patrik Laine and Kirby Dach took part in practice with the rest of the group, albeit wearing non-contact jerseys.
Still, it's very positive news, and indicates that both forwards are making good progress and getting closer to a return to action.
In short, this is excellent news, and let's see if Guhle and Evans play tonight against the Red Wings.
