Brad Marchand leaves no one indifferent.
With the Canadiens, he was always hated because of his years in Boston. But you have to remember that he's still the same guy with the Florida Panthers.
This shot last week is proof of that.
Blatant elbow to the chin from Marchand to Matheson.
Dumb, dumb play by the veteran.

Because the NHL didn't suspend Marchand (on the heels of his club's away game in Miami) for this one, we were keeping a close eye on which Habs guy would avenge Matheson tonight.
Brendan Gallagher was clearly a candidate. #SlimeAgainstSlime
But now the Panthers have announced that Marchand won't be playing tonight. Neither will Seth Jones, for that matter, but let's just say there's less talk.
Marchand is injured and is being considered on a day-to-day basis. He could play Saturday in Ottawa, but nothing has been decided yet.
The Panthers will be missing several players.
Brad Marchand won't play, as will Seth Jones on the blue line. https://t.co/F4qayyWnWq

I guess a lot of people are wondering if the little rat from Florida is really hurt or if he's just hiding from the Canadiens players in preparation for tonight's game.
What's your opinion on the subject?
We all agree that the intensity will drop a notch for tonight's game. But since the Habs have to build on yesterday's game to win, it's not the end of the world.
The most important thing is the W.
