In recent days, Green Bay Packers defensive end Lukas Van Ness arrived at his team's game wearing a Lane Hutson jersey.

Both guys hail from the Illinois suburb of Barrington, and Van Ness wanted to support the Canadiens' defenseman.

That said… yesterday, it was Matthew Bergeron who arrived at his club's game with the Habs vest on his back. Bergeron, who's from Quebec, proudly displayed his colors:

Clearly, the Canadiens brand is popular right now.

It's cool and fashionable to wear a Habs jersey… and it's really special to see, too. It just goes to show that the club's popularity is still at an all-time high, and that the Habs' recent successes aren't going unnoticed!

I've always found it interesting to see athletes supporting other sports organizations.

After all, the guys don't have to show their support in this way. But we know that athletes also respect each other and aren't necessarily afraid to show it either, which I think is a good thing.

It's like when Vladimir Guerrero Jr. showed up at game #7 of the World Series wearing a Marie-Phillip Poulin jersey because he knows how clutch she is.

It adds a touch of fun… but it can also be inspiring for the athlete who decides to dress that way.

And it obviously worked for Matthew Bergeron… because the Falcons caused a surprise by beating the mighty Rams last night in the NFL!

Maybe this will encourage him to wear the Canadiens jersey more often before his games… hehe!

Overtime

– Oh.

– That defends itself.

– Sick.

– Oh.

– Coming up.
