Seriously, who doesn't love Lane Hutson?
Everyone loves #48 of the Montreal Canadiens for his absolutely phenomenal skills on the ice, but also for his kindness and work ethic.
Earlier this week, we all enjoyed seeing images of Hutson playing hockey with youngsters on an outdoor rink in Montreal.
In short, everyone loves Hutson, and every Montreal Canadiens fan would love to have a #48 jersey in blue, white, and red.
Hutson is already one of the NHL's best defensemen, and as a result, he's becoming increasingly popular throughout the sports world, even in the NFL.
Last night, Green Bay Packers defensive tackle Lukas Van Ness arrived at his game wearing a Lane Hutson jersey.

They're both from the Chicago suburb of Barrington, Illinois.

He took the time to show it off to the cameras as he arrived for his game, turning to highlight the name behind his handsome Habs jersey.
Unfortunately, the jersey proved unlucky, as the Packers lost 41-24 to the Baltimore Ravens.
Like Hutson, Van Ness hails from the Chicago suburb of Barrington in the state of Illinois, which explains the support in wearing the #48 Habs jersey.
It's not the first time we've seen a Canadiens jersey worn by a professional athlete outside of hockey, but it's still a nice gesture when it happens.
Especially when it involves our national hero Lane Hutson, whom we love so much and are so lucky to have in Montreal for another eight seasons.
All in all, it puts hockey, the Canadiens, and the city of Montreal on the map throughout the sporting world, which can only be a good thing.

– Good news from the Columbus Blue Jackets.
Mathieu Olivier, who missed 13 games with an upper-body injury, is back tonight vs. #Isles.
Isac Lundeström, who caught a rut in practice on Saturday and needed help leaving the ice (left leg), is out. # CBJ are planning more tests on Lundeström today. https://t.co/pgaIxvw7X3

– Less good news in Columbus.
#CBJ D Zach Werenski is out tonight vs. #Isles, but told he's still considered day-to-day with a right foot/ankle injury.
Seems reasonable to consider him unlikely to play on Monday in Ottawa, too.
