After a three-day break, NHL activities resume today. There are games on the schedule tonight… but the Habs won't be back in action until tomorrow, against the Lightning.
The club is currently on the plane to Tampa Bay… and the question is, who's on that flight?
Because we know that, at the moment, the goaltending situation is one to watch… among others.
The Canadiens' plane has just taken off from St-Hubert, bound for Tampa Bay.
Can't wait to see who's on the plane. #Montembeault #Fowler #Dobes #Dach #Guhle #Texier #Evans #Blais #Beck

However, in the last few minutes, the AHL website announced that a transaction had been completed: on the site, it was announced that Samuel Montembeault had been recalled by the Habs.
And from what we've been able to learn, he's well and truly on the Habs' plane right now.

Yesterday, we learned that the Rocket had recalled Hunter Jones, suggesting that the Canadiens would be rolling with three goalies. And right now, it seems to be confirmed: the Rocket's transactions page doesn't announce a recall to Laval.
That's not to say it won't happen eventually. That said, right now, there are three goalies with the big club.
Note that the Habs will be practicing in Florida around 2 p.m., so we should have more answers by then. We'll have confirmations about the goalies who are there, but also about the injured players who have made the trip (or not).
But Montembeault, whose conditioning stint was due to end no later than Tuesday, is clearly back in the NHL.
Extension
With the Habs playing tomorrow, it will be interesting to see who Martin St-Louis's trusted goalie will be. It's also worth remembering that the club won't play a two-games-in-two-days sequence until next weekend.
If all three goalies stay in town for the entire trip, it will be difficult to find playing time for everyone without one of them losing his rhythm. That's going to be a real challenge.
