Before the holiday break, Jake Evans was injured. The habs forward accidentally collided with a Penguins player last Saturday, and his knee absorbed the brunt of the impact.
Obviously, all this was worrying, especially as he left the game and never returned.
Evans also missed the next two games, so we wondered if he'd be back after the holidays. And today, we finally got an update.
The problem is, it's not exactly positive: Evans will miss four to six weeks of activity.
So he's avoided a worst-case scenario… but he'll still be out for quite a while.
The Canadiens have announced that forward Jake Evans will miss 4-6 weeks with a lower-body injury.
