No surprise here, since this was the plan, but Samuel Montembeault is still in Quebec.
Since it became known that he wouldn't be joining his teammates in Pittsburgh over the weekend, it became clear that the Québécois goaltender wouldn't be playing again until after the holidays.
And as expected, this morning he was spotted on the ice at the CN Complex in Brossard. He had also skated yesterday morning in rather similar conditions.
The Habs are in Boston tonight to take on the Bruins.
Meanwhile in Brossard…
Samuel Montembeault is working hard on his technique, even without being in front of the net.
He's still with Marco Marciano (Rocket goaltending coach) and everything points to… pic.twitter.com/fikNXiiasY

Monty practiced with Marco Marciano, the Canadiens' excellent goaltending coach. No wonder: Éric Raymond is with the other two goaltenders in Boston, in preparation for tonight's game.
Note that Marciano and Montembeault were not alone on the ice. That said, Phillip Danault was not with them, as he headed to Boston to be ready for tonight's game.
