The habs have the 5th most difficult schedule in the NHL between now and the end of the season
If the NHL playoffs kicked off tonight, the Canadiens would be in with a shout. But…
But that doesn't automatically mean we'll see the Habs in the playoffs in April.
The standings are so tight in the East that things can change quickly. The Habs can't have a bad streak, and they'll have to find a way to stay consistent between now and the end of the campaign.

I also say this for a specific reason: between now and the end of the campaign, the Canadiens don't have a super-easy schedule.
In fact…
Between now and the end of the season, the Canadiens have the fifth-toughest schedule in the entire NHL. Martin St-Louis's men will face a number of challenges, and they'll have to respond in the right way if they hope to take part in the spring dance.
It won't be easy…

The Habs have more on the menu…
- A game against the Avalanche
- One game against the Stars
- Three games against the Hurricanes
- Two games against the Wild
- One game against the Golden Knights
- Two games against the Ducks
All these clubs are among the very good teams in the NHL this season. And the Habs have a good chunk of their schedule reserved for games against good clubs between now and the end of the campaign too.
It's going to be interesting to see if the Canadiens have what it takes to handle that kind of pressure. The Habs are the youngest club in the National League, and they're not completely out of the rebuilding phase… but if they manage to do well between now and mid-April, it'll once again mean they're progressing well.
And that's what's important, in the end.

– Good point.
I must salute the courage of Jake Paul, who was massacred in the 5th and 6th rounds by Joshua.
But this should never happen again. Paul is lucky to have come out of that fight alive.
