Strange news on this Saturday evening.

According to what David Pagnotta reported on social networks, the Buffalo Sabres have secured the services of Marc Bergevin as Associate GM.

The Sabres have just changed GM: Jarmo Kekalainen is now in charge.

Marc Bergevin has joined Phillip Danault in the Atlantic division. Clearly, the two are following each other, by necessity, in their professional careers.

He had been with the Kings since leaving Montreal.

What this tells me is that Bergevin wasn't exactly happy to see Ken Holland named GM of the Kings. Perhaps the Québécois felt the job was his to take.
