The Canadiens won tonight's game against the Pittsburgh Penguins.
And we must salute the performance of Jacob Fowler, who was simply on fire in front of his net. The fans gave him a standing ovation after the game, and deservedly so.
But… it wasn't all good news.
I say that because in the first period, the Canadiens lost the services of Jake Evans. The center made contact with one of his opponents and it really looked like it was going to hurt.

After the match, we discovered this: Evans won't be making the trip with the team to Pittsburgh.
The (young) veteran will remain in Montreal to be examined by the team doctors before seeing what happens next. Let's hope it's not too serious…

There are three options in all of this.
Could Phillip Danault join the Canadiens and play tomorrow?
2. Could we see a forward being recalled for tomorrow's game in Pittsburgh, given that the Habs only have 11 healthy forwards (without Danault) right now?
3. Will we see Martin St-Louis go with an 11-7 lineup tomorrow against the Penguins?
No matter: Jake Evans' absence will hurt tomorrow, and that's something to consider.
It'll be interesting to see how Martin St-Louis decides to build his lineup… because this is a great opportunity for the Canadiens to pick up two more big points.
I expect to see Jacob Fowler in net. But for the rest, who knows?
The answer in a few hours…
