Macklin Celebrini is firing on all cylinders this year.
The first pick in the 2024 draft already has 53 points, including 18 goals in 35 games, and a +13 rating, and his performances are one of the reasons why the Sharks currently occupy the last playoff spot in the West.
Celebrini has been dominant this season, and the quality of his play could well earn him a place on Team Canadiens for the next Olympic Games.
And in a few years' time, we could well have a second Celebrini among the NHL's elite, as his little brother, Richard RJ, is currently burning up the Pacific Coast Bantam Hockey League U15 with North Shore WC.
The youngest currently has 106 points, including 47 goals, in just 39 games so far this campaign, at just 13 years of age.

That's almost three points (2.7) and more than a goal (1.2) per game. That's impressive!
His stats are comparable to Macklin's 141 points and 51 goals in 50 games as a 13-year-old with Shattuck St. Mary's in the American 14U AAA league.
It's clear from this goal that the young forward already has plenty of talent.

Could RJ become as good as his big brother?
It's still early to say, but the potential seems to be there.
He still has a few years to develop, but if he continues to perform like this, he could be a player to watch in four years when he's eligible for the draft.
That's still a long way off, but we might even have the first pair of brothers drafted first overall in NHL history.

What's more, imagine the explosive pair they could form together.
Not to mention that their 21-year-old older brother, Aiden Celebrini, who was drafted 171st overall by the Canucks in 2023, is currently playing with Boston University.
And although he doesn't have the same potential as his younger brothers, he could also play in the NHL.
