Bad news for the Canadiens.
Martin St-Louis has announced that Mike Matheson will be out again tonight. He's still considered a day-to-day player because of his injury.
That's quite a blow.
Mike Matheson will miss a second straight game tonight.
He remains day-to-day.

This means that, as on Tuesday, the Habs will have to play their top defensemen a lot. Lane Hutson and Noah Dobson should be ready to eat up minutes.
Alexandre Carrier too.
Unsurprisingly, it's Jakub Dobes who will be in front of his team's net. It was his turn after watching Jacob Fowler play Tuesday's game against the Flyers.
Meanwhile, Samuel Montembeault will face the Cleveland Monsters in the AHL. Alex Belzile, Laurent Dauphin, and Joshua Roy will be absent, as they are still suspended for two games.
Monty will face a club 11 points behind the Rocket in the division standings. If he does well, people will say it's normal. And if he doesn't…
Let's not forget that when a player starts out in the AHL, it's the way he plays that counts.
Details to follow…
