Although he's never played for the Canadiens, Jordan Kyrou's name was very popular in Montreal this summer, and there were a thousand and one rumours about him in the last few months, as the Blues seemed keen to trade him. In the end, nothing happened. And Kyrou says he's glad nothing happened, at least according to Matthew DeFranks, who covers the team for the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.
Jordan Kyrou heard the rumors, but he's happy to stay in STL.
That's the first time I was kind of a little nervous, maybe. But I'm glad nothing happened and glad I'm staying here with the Blues. I love it here. I love living here. It's like my home now.” https://t.co/Pzh1i3UNGT –Matthew DeFranks (@MDeFranks) October 8, 2025

– Intriguing.Justin Brazeau has 6 scoring chances at 5v5 this season, tied for 1st in the NHL.
Maybe having 6'5 Anthony Mantha, 6'3 Evgeni Malkin, and 6'6 Justin Brazeau on a line is a Kyle Dubas masterclass? pic.twitter.com/TQw5ESXppt– Big Head Hockey Clips (@bigheadclips) October 9, 2025
