Drinking and driving: the Sabres offer a forced break to a member of their organization

The Buffalo News reported the news about Mair yesterday. There were three children in Mair's car at the time he hit another car from behind. But at least no one was hurt, and that's what's most important in the end. The former NHL player was over the legal blood-alcohol limit: he was twice over the limit. This happened on September 4 at 4:30 p.m. (in the afternoon), by the way, so the Sabres have sent their employee on forced leave for the time being. Will a more important decision be made later? We'll see. I guess the Sabres figure they don't need this right now.
