The #8 of the Capitals beat Wayne Gretzky’s record yesterday, when his team faced the Islanders.
The Islanders are offering to print physical tickets for fans who attended Alex Ovechkin’s record-breaking game at their arena in New York.
For $45.

After the record was broken during yesterday’s match, a QR code appeared on the giant screen of the UBS Arena to offer the offer to the fans on site who were interested in buying a ticket.
Say that the price for a single ticket on eBay… it’s still quite expensive:

Obviously, it’s a beautiful piece for collectors.
The tickets will possibly gain value over time and that’s why there are people who won’t hesitate to spend a lot of money to get one.
Note that according to Front Office Sports, there are also used warm-up pucks available at a price of… $375 each.
It’s a lot of money, but all the profits made from the sale of the pucks will be given to the Islanders’ children’s foundation, which is a nice thought.
Overtime
