There is a beautiful culture within the habs organization.

Players have fun being together and it helps to have good results on the ice.

But even when things are not going well off the ice, the guys are also there to support each other. For example? The players organized themselves to go to Brendan Gallagher’s family home after learning of his mother’s passing.

Gally talked about it this morning and clearly, you can tell he really appreciated the gesture of his teammates.

The players wanted to be there for him by visiting him and supporting him. The team was on a western trip at the time.

This is another proof that shows how tight the group is:

Gallagher and his family did not expect the players to make the 45-minute bus trip.

He explains that it was a bit unexpected… And with a smile on his face, you can clearly see that he loved seeing his teammates come to support him.

In all this, the player also recalls that the organization is there to support him in this difficult time.

The habs forward really seems to be grateful for the love he receives from almost everyone and the guys are doing well to be there for him because it can really help him feel a little better.

But again, it’s really special to see that the players love each other in this way.

They knew that one of their good teammates was going through tough times and they wanted to be with him so he wouldn’t be alone during this period in his life.

It’s beautiful to see.

Overtime

– Pierre LeBrun made me laugh.

– Watching him skate, I don’t think he’ll be in uniform tonight against the Jets. #Hehe

– Wow.

– That would be… something.

– Note that.
