While all the eyes of Montreal Canadiens fans were on the incredible performance and victory of the CH against the Florida Panthers, history was written in the NCAA.

Unfortunately, history was written against the hopes of Tricolore, Jacob Fowler, and his Boston College university.

In fact, for the first time in NCAA history, the ninth-ranked team eliminated the first seed in the quarterfinals of the Hockey East division.

The Huskies of Northeastern, the former team of Jordan Harris and Jayden Struble, completely surprised everyone by eliminating the Huskies of Boston College with a 3-1 victory.

Never could such a scenario have been imagined, considering that BC is the best team in the division since the beginning of the season, and Northeastern is having a very difficult season.

In short, it’s a disaster for Jacob Fowler and his team.

The Eagles of Boston College are eliminated from the Hockey East division series and will therefore not go to the TD Garden for the semifinals and finals of the division, although they were the favorites.

Last season, Boston College had easily won the tournament by beating the University of Massachusetts 8-1 in the semifinals, and then beating Lane Hutson and the University of Boston 6-2 in the final.

In short, it’s a completely different outcome for BC and Fowler, who will have to regroup and think about their next challenge, namely the Frozen Four.

Because, in the end, Boston College’s season is not over.

They will be drafted for the Frozen Four tournament, the NCAA regional championship.

Last season, Fowler and BC had lost in the final, and therefore, this season, they will certainly want to bounce back, especially after their defeat last night.

This will be worth watching, as the tournament begins on March 28.

In Rafale

– It will be very difficult.

– To be continued.

– Great celebration.
