The next year’s Canadian edition could well achieve a feat it has not done in 33 years.

And no, I’m not talking here about winning the Stanley Cup.

The CH could well have a trio that will score 100 goals for the first time since the 1992-93 season.

This is the hot take of Brian Wilde in today’s episode of The Sick Podcast by Tony Marinaro, which states that Nick Suzuki, Cole Caufield, and Juraj Slafkovsky will score 30, 40, and 30 goals respectively next season.

Marinaro goes further, talking about the possibility of seeing them score 110 goals if Caufield manages to score 50 goals. This may be a bit too much enthusiasm, but who knows!

However, 40 goals for the little attacker and 30 for Suzuki, this is very possible.

Can Slaf score 30 goals? The potential is definitely there, but he will have to be more consistent in his game and not just produce at the end of the season. On the other hand, if he plays like he has since the return of the 4 Nations break, 30 goals is very conceivable for the Slovak player.

Also, the Caufield-Suzuki-Slafkovsky combination is not the only one that could score 100 goals, because let’s not forget the arrival of a certain Ivan Demidov who could also potentially play on the first trio next year.

Could Demidov score 30 goals in his rookie season? Hard to say, but Matvei Michkov and Macklin Celebrini already have 20 goals this year and should finish the campaign around 25 goals. It’s up to Demidov to do better!

And let’s not forget Patrik Laine, who, despite a roller-coaster season, still has 15 goals in 35 games. If he stays in shape next year, 30 goals is achievable.

By the way, the last time the Canadian had a 100-goal trio in 1992-32, the team had a fourth player who had surpassed the 30-goal mark. The four attackers were Brian Bellows with 40 goals, Vincent Damphousse with 39, Kirk Muller with 37, and finally, Stephan Lebeau with 31 goals.

93 was a year that ended well for the CH!

And next year, we may have five 30-goal scorers with the team.
