Sheldon Keefe lost his job with the Maple Leafs

That’s it.

Even before his contract extension (2024-2026) takes effect this summer, Sheldon Keefe has officially lost his job as the Maple Leafs have chosen to fire their coach.

No surprise there.

The #leafs have fired head coach Sheldon Keefe. He has two years remaining on a contract extension that hasn’t even officially kicked in yet.
