CMJ: Lane Hutson and Jacob Fowler selected by the United States
On Saturday afternoon, the United States announced its full roster for the upcoming World Junior Championship. Not surprisingly, two Canadian prospects were selected.

We’re talking about defenseman Lane Hutson and goaltender Jacob Fowler. Here’s the full list.

Lane Hutson is in his second NCAA season with Boston University. He scored eight goals and 12 assists for a total of 20 points in just 15 games this season.

This will be Hutson’s second appearance at the Holiday Tournament, having done so well last season. He finished the tournament with four points in seven games.

For Jacob Fowler, the situation is a little different. Drafted in the third round in 2023 by the Canadiens, the goalie impressed in his first NCAA season with Boston College.

In 17 games, the goalie posted a .925 save percentage and a 2.16 goals-against average. All this, with a superb 13-3-1 record.

More details to come…
