Jayden Struble’s first NHL goal
Jayden Struble really had an excellent game.

Defensively, he’s playing an inspired game. In fact, he’s just given himself a little extra gift: a goal.

Nick Suzuki doubled his team’s lead a few seconds later.

Struble’s first career NHL goal came against former Northeastern teammate Devon Levi.

The two played two seasons together at the University.

When he was recalled, the defender was a substitute. But now, he’s bought himself a full-time position. There’s a reason the CH sent Arber Xhekaj down.

Struble joins a long list of Montreal defensemen to have scored this season. Defensemen are finding the back of the net at an historic rate.
