Mike Matheson misses training

Following yesterday’s game against the Seattle Kraken(in which the Habs looked good overall) at the Bell Centre, the Habs have a practice scheduled for this morning.

It should be noted that after practice, a visit to the hospitals awaits the players.

As we’re only two days away from the next game, however, we’re talking about a training session that doesn’t tell the whole story. A lot can change in (more than) 48 hours.

Even so, one piece of bad news was announced by the Habs before the start of morning training.

Mike Matheson, as happens from time to time, is unable to take part in today’s training session. A day of treatments is on the menu in his case.

The exact reason for his absence is not known.

It’s important to remember that the defenseman plays big minutes every night. He hasn’t missed a game, and without David Savard for a while, it’s logical to see that the Quebecer is overloaded on the ice.

The veteran therefore deserves his visits to the infirmary. #ReposDuGuerrier
