Coyotes buy out Alex Galchenyuk’s contract
In the final minutes, the Coyotes announced that they were placing Alex Galchenyuk on the unconditional ballot in order to buy out his contract.

The CH veteran was an uncompensated free agent on July 1, and had agreed with the Arizona organization on the terms of a one-year contract that would have paid him 775,000 for the 2023-2024 season.

The club won’t comment on the matter at this time, which makes it all the more bizarre.

Very weird, indeed.

More details to come…
