Timo Meier signs eight-year contract extension with New Jersey

We’ve been waiting for this news.

In fact, we’ve been talking about it for some time now.

After agreeing on the terms of an eight-year contract with Jesper Bratt, the Devils have now signed Timo Meier, also for eight years.

The deal, which begins next year and runs through the 2030-2031 season, will pay him $8.8 million per season.
