Only three days to go before the start of the NHL Entry Draft.

Starting at 8:00 p.m. this Wednesday evening, the teams will begin the draft, and many questions should be answered.

Will the Montreal Canadiens try to move up in the draft? Will they want to move down to get three first-round picks? Or will they set their sights on a quality prospect at No. 5?

Transactions could also be finalized by Wednesday evening, with Daniel Brière attempting to complete deals with the Carolina Hurricanes and St. Louis Blues.

Let’s focus on the draft for now.

The latest final lists from journalists and experts were released recently, and now we have the final rankings from Radio-Canada’s Alexandre Gascon.

Gascon took an approach based on what five scouts told him about prospects.

I invite you to take a look at this list, as there’s a nice surprise at number five, but otherwise, the list as a whole makes a lot of sense.

The CH’s choice includes Slovak forward Dalibor Dvorský, a good friend of Filip Mesar.

The Tricolore could very well be tempted to draft Dvorský, in order to complete a 100% Slovak trio with Mesar and Slafkovsky.

Let’s talk about this young Slovak.

First of all, Dvorský is described as a talented forward who excels at puck protection. He is a center who can also play on the wing.

Although he is very dangerous offensively, Dvorský is also very responsible in all three zones, helping him to be a versatile center.

He plays with men’s teams in the Swedish Allsvenskan league (AIK or Swe-1), and has scored 14 points in 36 games.

Next year, he will join IK Oskarshamn in the Swedish Premier League (SHL).

What caught the attention of many fans and experts in his case was his performance at the Under-18 World Junior Championship, where he completely dominated with 13 points and 8 goals, in just 7 games.

He also helped his country win a bronze medal at the tournament.

It would be great to see the Tricolore draft Dvorský and combine him with Mesar and Slaf.

It’s not the French Connection, but it could become the Slovak Connection.

We can’t wait to see the results of the famous draft. We’ve only got three days to go, so it won’t be long.
