Cole Caufield has fun at the Canadian Formula 1 Grand Prix

We’re in the middle of the Canadian Formula 1 Grand Prix festivities, and that attracts a lot of people. It also attracts celebrities who want to witness the great spectacle that F1 can offer. One of these celebrities is popular Canadian striker Cole Caufield.

And Caufield isn’t alone! He’s joined by his friends and former teammates from the U.S. National Development Program, Trevor Zegras and Jack Hughes.

In addition to hanging out with NHL stars, Caufield also ran into one of his teammates at Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve. We’re talking about Chris Wideman, who looked unprepared for the rain in his white T-shirt.

Caufield, Zegras and Hughes played together in the U.S. National Development Program from 2017 to 2019. They were then all selected in the first round of the 2019 draft. All three players are enjoying success in the NHL and are among the league’s most electric players, according to many fans.

The three players arrived on site wearing McLaren coats, all in orange. Strangely enough, they changed their attire a little later in the day and became supporters of the Aston Martin team.

Quebecer Lance Stroll happens to drive an Aston Martin car. Maybe Caufield finally wanted to support a local guy.

There weren’t just NHL players at Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve on Saturday. There were NBA players too!

Quebecers Bennedict Mathurin and Luguentz Dort were present at the event, along with two Toronto Raptors players: Christian Koloko and Precious Achiuwa. It was strange not to see Chris Boucher in the group. He often hangs out with Dort at Montreal events.

The Grand Prix race starts at 2pm on Sunday. There will probably be even more celebrities during the real race.
