It’s not often that you hear the names Owen Beck and Shane Wright in the same sentence. Bob Hartley decided to talk about it on BPM Sports on Wednesday afternoon.

“Both confirmed to me that Owen Beck is as good as Shane Wright, if not better.” – Bob Hartley
He then confirms that the two recruiters told him this separately. They couldn’t agree on a joke. This information is either bad news for Shane Wright, or good news for Owen Beck. Either way, the Habs should be happy they didn’t select Shane Wright at the very top of the draft in 2022.
