Logan Mailloux helps Knights reach OHL final
CH prospect Riley Kidney is out and Joshua Roy faces elimination tonight.

Another top CH prospect still alive in junior is London Knights defenseman Logan Mailloux. This afternoon, London had the chance to advance to the final with a victory over the Sarnia Sting.

A 5-1 victory propelled Mailloux and his team into the Ontario League final, where they will face either Owen Beck and the Peterborough Petes or the North Bay Battalion. Duel to be determined.

If Peterborough gets past North Bay, then at least one CH prospect (Beck or Mailloux) will be going to the Memorial Cup, presented in Kamloops, British Columbia.

As for Mailloux, he was no stranger to his team’s victory this afternoon. First, he served up a beating to Zach Filak.

Then he scored this goal late in the period.

In 12 playoff games, the right-handed defenseman collected an impressive 17 points. Not bad!
