Fogle has asked an appeals court to dismiss the 15 year and 8 month sentence he received for having sex with minors and possessing child pornography. He's arguing he only should have received the maximum sentence that came along with his plea deal, which is 12 years and 6 months.
Well, prosecutors are having none of it, as they've just exposed a series of incriminating text messages in which Fogle solicited sex with underage children and shared his exact likes and desires like it was absolutely no big deal. The messages were sent to a woman who was in charge of recruiting minors for Fogle and yes, they're as disturbing as you think. Perhaps even more so.
As reported by TMZ, Fogle wrote: "Is your Asian friend available? I'll pay you big for a 14 or 15-year-old." The messages then went into price negotiations, with Fogle offering to pay $400 for anyone under 16.
"Do you have any access to any young girls? Like 15 or 16?" he wrote. When the woman asked, "Why, baby?", he simply responded with, "Cause it's what I crave."
*shudders* Perhaps the 15-year sentence is not only justified, but not enough.
