Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen refuse to take part in Full House reboot
As Netflix moves full steam ahead with its Full House reboot, Fuller House, Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen have announced they will not be coming back to take on the role of Michelle Tanner. Way to rain on everyone's parade, guys!

The Hollywood Reporter broke the news and featured a statement from executive producer Robert L. Boyett who said: “Although Ashley and Mary-Kate will not be a part of Fuller House, I know how much Full House has meant to them and they are still very much considered family... I support their choice to focus on their fashion brands and various business endeavors. I appreciate their support and good wishes towards Fuller House." Uh-huh, sure.

Although original stars Candace Cameron Bure, Jodie Sweetin, Dave Coulier and Andrea Barber will all return, alongside producer (and guest star) John Stamos, the twins will definitely not be reprising the role that made them famous, which is a real shame, especially if Bob Saget and Lori Loughlin end up also agreeing to do Fuller House.

The show is set to premiere next year and will follow D.J. Tanner-Fuller and her three kids, as well as her sister Stephanie Tanner and neighbor Kimmy Gibbler, as they move into the same house and try to raise their children together.
