Kanye West has had some wild ideas over the years and most of them (maybe even all of them) have been total successes, which makes us think that no matter how strange his newest business venture is, it might just work.

It was during an interview with Power 105.1's The Breakfast Club that West dropped the bombshell: He's designing a video game based on his new single, "Only One", which will feature his late mother, who passed away in 2007.

"The idea is that it’s my mother going through the gates of heaven," he said, "and you’ve got to bring her to the highest gate of heaven by holding her to the light." It's been in the works for six months already and Kanye is, of course, involved in every single aspect of its creation.

Note: This isn't the first time Yeezy has ventured into the gaming universe. Remember Kanye Quest 3030, the 2D roleplaying game that came out five year ago? If you don't, here's its official description to refresh your memory: "In January 2010, as rapper and producer Kanye West is taking the garbage out one day, he suddenly travels through a wormhole." Nice to picture him doing mundane chores like that, isn't it?!

"Emerging on the other side, Kanye finds himself in the year 3030. In a dystopian city filled with clones of hip-hop musicians and under the control of a god-like dictator, can Kanye get back home?" Not going to lie, it was an awesome idea. (Check out Kanye Quest 3030 HERE.)

There's no word yet on when the new game will drop, but you can hear first mention of it by fast forwarding to around 56 minutes in the interview below, just two minutes before the end.

Psssttt ! Envoie-ça à ton ami!
