It's been a tough couple of years for the Houston-Brown Families. First the death of Whitney Houston on Febuary 11 2012 and now her daugther Bobbi Kristina between life and death.
Here's a small recap of the past days events for those of you who just came out of a nuclear bunker:
On January 31st Whithey Houston's daughter, Bobbi Kristina, was rushed to the hospital after she was found face down in her bathtub. She is said to have been unconscious underwater between 2 to 5 minutes, which would have significantly diminished her brain functions.
On February 3 she was transfered to Emory University Hospital, which is renowned for treating brain injuries, but have not shown any signs of improvement ever since.
With the hopes of bringing Bobbi Kristina back lowering ever day, doctors have advised Bobbi Brown, Bobbi Kristina's father, to take her off life support.
11 days later both Houston and Brown families have seemingly come to the sad conclusion that it was time to let her go. The NY post just reported that Bobbi Kristina would indeed be pulled off life support tomorrow on Whitney Houston's death anniversary.
Sources close to the family told the newspaper: “The move is a symbolic way to keep the mother and daughter together for eternity, according to a Brown family source...This is the only thing they can agree on — that she’s gone [brain-dead], and there’s nothing more than can be done for her,”
TMZ just posted this update on their website: "10:25 AM PT -- A lawyer for Bobby Brown just issued a statement, saying there is no truth to the story that Bobbi Kristina will be taken off life support tomorrow. As we reported, members of the Brown family informed us that was indeed the case. But the lawyer, Christopher Brown, says it's not so. "
Who to believe? Time will tell...
All in all super sad and tragic. Our thoughts are with both families in these difficult times.
